In October 2020, the Athabasca communities requested cloth masks to assist them in dealing with Covid-19 in their community. They were looking for enough so that members of their communities could each have at least one plus a couple of spares. The communities requested a total of 12,000 masks. Huge thanks to our generous partners on this initiative! Orano, Points Athabasca & QM Points, and Northern Resource Trucking partnered together to provide the requested cloth masks, for a total donation valued at $20,000. Appollo Management, the supply company, donated 20% of the order. West Wind Aviation also contributed by providing freight to the communities free of charge.
